i recently started looking on-line for some vintage arcade games. i grew up in the 80's (like many!!) and hung out at local spots dropping quarter after quarter. todays games are cool and all, as far as the graphics go, but i LOVE the good ole' days when frogger, donkey kong, tetris, tarzan, q*bert and all the rest, were just flat and they weren't so complicated.
i remember a game i really LOVED to play, it was the JOURNEY game. it had all these levels and it was funny. it also played all their songs. i would just love to find that there is one of these ancient games STILL around, that works.
i also loved all the atari games that just had simple graphics. there was also a game that started with an X. xexon or xenon or something like that. it had a craft that hovered over and dropped bombs and shot out at things in the front. the one with the helicopter was cool too. do you know the ones i mean??
also, there was a game and i cant remember what it was, but one of the levels had dice that fell from the top like boulders and you had to move your platform at the bottom, left and right, not allowing any to pass. does anyone know this one?
does anyone know where i could find any of these, that are still in good condition and can still be played? i have a nintendo 64 and got a few of the OLD SCHOOL games, but i was really hoping to find these others. i am limited to what i like as of now. i would like to play the games that i grew up on.
please get back to me if you know of anything.
    thank you,
    monika
