Atari was the first game company. Makers of the classics like Robotron. (where I spent most of my quaters on in my youth). I am very grateful to find this website. I still think Atari puts out the best games. It brings back fond memories.
When I look in an arcade there's hardly anything original. Most of the video games there are fighting games and driving games. Better grapics does not equal better gameplay. Some of them cost a $1.00, and most are 50 cents; there are hardy any ones that cost 25 cents and have some pizzaz to them unlike Pac-Man. It make me hungry for the good old classics. There are a number of games I would like to try like Joust 2 (There was a sequel!) Kid Ikarus, and Crypt Keeper 7800 game before it crashed. They are becoming a distent memory like that Arabian Nights RPG for Nintendo that I still want to play. What's it's name. Anyhow I'm glad Atari still around. I'm sorry the Jaguar had to go out like that. The Lynx still a great system. Hopefully I can find a place that sells them dirt cheap. Any thoughts about remaking some old games like Crystal Castles, Xenophobe, Or Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom?

I am so glad to see that the Atari Community still thrives with nostalgia. I am also glad that Midway has purchased Atari Coin-op, let them keep their name so that they might make such great Arcade games as Gauntlet Legends.
My first published game was on an Atari ST and a site like this thrills me to no end.

I would like to find more reviews of old games.
There where hundreds of games, and I think that your site
could improve very much if it had more game reviews.
It seems to me that's what drives someone to your site is,
at most, lembrances from old titles. I found it amazing to read
reviews of my old friend "enduro" and also others, and I would
like to read more of them.
I would like to collaborate with new reviews, but, as you are
seeing, I can't write a good English text yet.

Hey guys just want to say Great!! job on this site.
I have never found another site with as much fac
information regarding the Atari 2600 and 7800. I enjoyed
reading about all the specs etc. It's nice to see that their
are hard core players that really still love and appreciate
the Atari 2600. Yes the graphics were simple (yet great at that time) but the gameplay was just plain fun. After Pong of course, the Atari 2600 started it all. I own many systems
(including of course a 2600 and I enjoy playing a intence
game of Kaboom! Or River Raid just as much as playing
Mortal Kombat Trilogy (which is an all time fav or mine)
on the N64. Point is a fun game is a fun game no matter what. However too many games today expecially when we are talking about Arcade games are just not fun.
In fact I for one love and miss the whole vibe of the early 80s as far as the whole arcade scene was concerned. Where even in the arcades, the graphics may have been not as flashy as todays big similator type games, but we loved them and again the most important thing was that they were FUN! The only arcade games today that I feel are truly amazing and great is Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter 2. other than that their is nothing that is ground breaking. Games are all the same today. As far as arcade games are concerned the true greats were simple yet fun and hard! where the games did not end unless you died.
I bet you guys and whoever is reading this post feel the same way. Bottom line is fun fun fun fun right? Some
of us still hold that to our hearts I see. I comend you for it... Keep up the great work!!!!!
