I remember my sister and I putting our Christmases together in 1977 to buy our 2600. We got Combat with the system, then bought Chopper Command and Frogger. My parents made the mistake of signing me up with the Columbia House Atari Club and at its peak, we had almost 100 games. Our 2600 broke in 1984 and we bought a NES, what a sad day, but I'm 28 years old and still play with my playstation.
