- What a wonderful trip down memory lane! I'm glad that
I held onto my Atari machines. I had neglected them and never planned to use them, but I managed to get the classic bug again when I went over to my folks house and retrieved all my games in the attic that I thought they'd thrown away years ago. Thanks for the memories!

I read was true and the XE supports games from the 1200XL, I'd be interested in buying a lot of stuff.

- Many people say "Who cares about Atari?!" "Atari is dead!" well I have something to tell all of you that think this. Atari is the pioneer of video games. If it weren't for Atari, Nintendo and Sega would never be were they are today. Infact, if it weren't for Atari, we would more than likely be playing board games right now. So, all of you that think "Atari sucks." should be thanking Atari instead of putting them down, because if it weren't from them, there wouldn't be video games.

- I use to be the president of the Atari Exchange of Louisville, I still am the President of this club, but now it is simply called the AEL Personal Computer Users, and we accept all computers, but we are basically PC/Atari, but our Atari membership has slowly gone to PC's. Keep up the good work, and keep our favorite systems alive. I just hope Hasbro has some plans for the Jag/Lynx.

- I was walking through Toys R Us the other day when I realized that the most interesting game on the shelves was Hasbro's new version of "Frogger". No doubt about it, gameplay has suffered as graphics have improved. As much as I like Tempest 2K, I still think Circus Atari is the most fun you can have sitting in front of the TV.

- It's strange to see all the old ghosts that appear when playing your old Atari collection (and I'm not talking about Haunted House!) A classic 2600 game on the screen brings back every memory about a certain moment in time- from the taunts your grade school buddy gave you when the invaders landed on you, to the weeks of mowing lawns to pay for a $25 cartridge (only to crave for the next one in 24 hours). Atari games forced you to be inventive
much the way oldtimers talk about radio dramas, the classic games had abstract graphics, you had to imagine that pile of purple bricks was a lightspeed star cruiser, or a firefighter, or a golfer. Ahhh nostalgia, thy name is Atari.
