This is the story of Matthew, a kid who likes playing Nintendo but has trouble imagining stuff for composition class. His life takes a turn for the interesting when a knight named Kuros bops into his room and asks him to be a squire to him for his quest to kill off Malkil and save some various princesses.

This book pretty much follows the level layout of the book. Matthew saves Kuros from getting killed a couple of times. There's also a silly sideplot where one of the princesses is Grizelda, Kuros' sister or something. Matthew thinks that with a name like that, she must be an ugly chick, but naturally she's incredibly hot. Barf. Eventually they win, of course.
