Konami's last major hit for the FC in 1991, Lagrange Point is a sprawling RPG set in a future of space stations and silly looking mecha. In many ways it represents the height of the art of 8-bit RPG's.

This is one of about three double-size FC games Konami games made, due to the extra sound chip inside. Sound chip? Yeah, the game uses the NES's sound only sparingly; instead it uses a chip that reminds me very much of the PC Engine/TG16's sound output. It lends well to the space theme and it makes the game especially outstanding.
