Favorite Games |
My favorite types of games are
flight sims, but I think my favorite game on a home system would
have to be Rocketball on my ol' Commodore 64. Great two player
game for beatin' up on your friends |
Favorite System |
Atari 2600, the system which I
mainly collect for. This was my first system as a kid, and with the
hundreds and hundreds of games for it, it makes it the best system to
"bulk up" on |
What Systems I Own And Collect For |
I mainly collect for the well
known systems. Vectrex, Atari 26/52/78, Colecovision, and Intellivision.
I'll pick up the other stuff too, but usually only for trade bait |
How Many Games I Own For Each System |
I've got a few handfulls of
games for most of the systems I collect, but my Atari 2600 collection
is currently the biggest, with somewhere around 400 titles. (Yes,
there are duplicates **sigh**) |
How Long I've Been Actively Collecting |
Since around 1991, I would guess -
about the same time I got on the net and found out about r.g.v.c. and
related newsgroups |
Possessions In My Collection I'm Most Proud Of |
My proudest possessions are, unfortunately,
the ones that I have already traded away. I'm not sorry that I traded them,
but I do miss owning them at times - those games were Chase the Chuckwagon
with box and manual, Waterworld complete, Music Machine w/dox, and Tooth
Protectors. *sniffle* |
Other Tidbits/Comments |
While collecting and playing is
the main reason I am in the hobby, I have to admit I also like the
"wheeling and dealing" of trading, selling, and auctions. Usually,
when I do sell things, the money is put back into the hobby somehow, so
maybe that will muffle the complaints. My other hobby is in the
area of "artistic" videography/photography. I'll leave it up to you to
figure out what "artistic" means :-) |
