What Systems I Own And Collect For |
I own most of the standard classic consoles:
- Telstar Pong
- VCS
- ColecoVision
- 5200
- NES
- TurboGrafx-16 and up.
All were bought and collected for during their time. I also have a pretty
respectable collection of classic handhelds collected from Japan in the early 80's
Although not really a collector in the traditional sense, I've actively sought
any kind of electronic game I came across since I was a kid. Consequently, the
majority of my collection was bought during the time of their release (I've only
bought a handful of 2600 games over the past 10 years)
|
How Many Games I Own For Each System |
98% of my collection is back at home so I'm really not too sure
|
How Long I've Been Actively Collecting |
If actively buying and playing games is
collecting, then I've been collecting since 1979 or so |
Possessions In My Collection I'm Most Proud Of |
My family used to frequently travel
to Japan as a kid in the 80's since it was only 3 hours away. Subsequently
I would always purchase handhelds from there with my favorite being a Bandai
Hyper Olympic Challenge 5, which is an excellent tabletop port of the Konami
Track and Field arcade game. So that's probably my favorite |
One Game Or System/Item That I'd Love To Obtain Someday |
I'd love to have a complete 5200 collection with
Super Pac-Man and Stargate in there... :) |
