Favorite Games

My favorite arcade stand-up would be either Joust or Robotron, though I was a pretty deft hand at Ms. Pac-Man back when I was 10. I'd also love to own a Tron one of these days. :-)

My favorite classic home game is 2600 Berzerk... Or maybe Vectrex Minestorm... Or 7800 Centipede... Or Vic-20 Omega Race. Or Vic Gridrunner... or... or...

Favorite System

My favorite system isn't a console - it's the Vic-20. This was what I had as a kid, and what I rode out the crash with. If I had to pick a console system, I'd have to choose the Vectrex. Simply because it's small, cool, and matte black. No woodgrain here!

What Systems I Own And Collect For

I own and collect for the entire Atari line, the INTV, the Colecovison, the entire Nintendo line, the entire Sega line, the Playstation, the Odyssey 2, the 3DO, and the Vectrex - and the Atari, TI, and Commodore home computers. I'm not going to trouble you with a complete list. Suffice it to say that I don't have an Astrocade, Channel F, or an APF machine. Everything else is pretty much covered.

How Long I've Been Actively Collecting

This collection has been built up since 1991 or so, but I've only been collecting the classics since mid '95.

Possessions In My Collection I'm Most Proud Of

My proudest possesions include my small collection of arcade boards. I've got two working Zaxxons, a working Double Dragon, an untested Mr. Do, an untested Robotron: 2084 that needs some work, a Gorf that's missing a board, an untested Moon Patrol, and a few boards with no identifying markings.

Also, my boxed and complete 2600 Xonox Robin Hood. I found the cart at one thrift and the box and manual at another thrift in the same chain, 50 miles apart. My NES 42-in-1. Tengen Tetris. The two Game Gear multicarts, one with a bootleg version of Super Mario Brothers. 3 more 2600 Xonox carts and a Coleco Xonox single-ender. My entire collection of Vic cartridges. And... my collection of import strip Mah-jong games. :-)
