ANCIENT ATARI PAL*DIVISION: EURO-CON '99
PHOTOS FROM EURO-CON '99
In no particular order, here are some pictures which capture the spirit of Euro-Con '99.

From left to right: Arne, Marco, John C, Marc and Roloff's dad, Sybren.

Here, a small crowd (the Brits had left for Amsterdam Nightlife) watches the videos played on two big TV sets. We watched a lot of old classic commercials, the documentary "Once Upon ATARI", the Dexter's Laboratory episode "Game Over", a BBC-World report on Classic Video Games and Peter Molineux (Bullfrog/Lionhead), the Seinfeld episode where George tries to save his 10-year old highscore on a Frogger Arcade Cabinet, and finally a nicely taped and edited peek at Colin's huge collection (who was the only one that had actually taped it!).

Up front is Hessel checking out GameReset's huge pile of great (mostly german) trade-bait and show-off stuff.

On Saturday morning everyone had the opportunity to trade. Everyone set up at 11:30, had a good look, and then Marco gave the signal to start off the trading frenzy. This picture was clearly taken before twelve. Giving everyone some time to unpack and set-up, and take a good look, gave us all an equal opportunity and worked out great.

Standing from left to right: Colin (dancing to the Dynablaster tune?), Jörg "Lenno", Sandy and Jens;

sitting from left to right: Marco, Ross and John C.

Everyday we had some great breakfast and later lunch, and at night dinner, all prepared by Roloff's Mom, Nelieke.

Clockwise starting left are (those that are visible): Steve, Richard, Hessel, Sandy, Jörg, Jens (standing), Jon L, Peter, Ian, Chris and Colin (facing Jörg).
