Atari 5100 (aka. "5200jr")
Did you ever wonder why the 5200 was so BIG? Apparently, Atari
realized that shedding some of the excess metal and plastic would
help them cut costs, much like how they did with the slimmed-down
2600jr. The 5100 was never released.
Spectravision 5200 Hotel Console
One of the more unusual machines ever made, the 5200 Hotel Unit
was an entertainment system made specifically for hotels and motels.
5200 Kids Controller
The 2600 got one. Why not for the SuperSystem too? It was never released.
Atari Video System X
Throughout much of the 5200's development stage, the machine was
referred to as "Video System X." Take a look at some of the
unique promotional items, games and the machine itself.
Masterplay Interface
Far and away the most useful peripheral for the 5200, this
adapter allowed gamers to use any 2600-compatible controller
while playing the 5200.
5200 Paddle Controllers
A no-brainer of a controller that never came to pass.
