Just a quick update on Steve Scavone's pet project....
Gorf Classic is up and running but is far from finished. Gorf 2000
is definitely being worked out at this point. In fact, Steve already has
Astro Battle 3-D doing things already on the PC version. Mr. "Gorfian
Empire" says not to worry, however, as the Jag version will have a little
more to it. He's currently still trying to iron out the blitter. The
pictures you see on this page are those of the Mother Ship in the Flagship
mode.
Gorf is a classic that was begging to be updated in a major way, and
Jaguar fanatics should be delighted that a talented programmer and
a bigtime Gorf fan is making it a mission to provide gamers out there
with an experience similar to what the original offered to arcaders back in
1980. Definitely one to watch for.
